Attention! Before you rush off to the polls to vote for the most charming bird in the world - the saddleback - I’d like to thank a few people who helped me put this campaign video together. Great music and a cool cartoon sequence. Interesting contrast between the faithful male tieke and the naughty male hihi in the hihi podcast. However, Emma, I question whether you can be a faithful campaign manager to 2 different birds.
In terms of coverage, I was only able to access this via the hihi podcast, wasn’t able to locate it through the general bird of the year site.

Yes my loyalties were sorely divided between the hihi and tieke. But I love them both and seeing as so many NZers know nothing about either it seemed like a good idea to put the spotlight on them both.
